How to make your Contacts, not your Global Address List (of internal users), come up first when addressing an e-mail.
From the main Outlook menu (not from an a new e-mail), click Tools, Address Book; then from the Address Book dialog, click Tools, Options.
Click on the dropdown for "Show this Address Book first." to select your main Outlook Contacts, and have those Contacts come up first when addressing e-mails.
