Sean has been with SyncraTec practically from the beginning.  He’s Employee No. 1.  When the requisition was written-up for our first employee, the job title was always going to be Business Technology Consultant.  The idea was, that we would have a technology person that could double as a Microsoft Dynamics CRM Consultant and also support all of our various business applications software.  At first, that business technology encompassed setting up the Dynamics SL Business Portal with an “internet-facing” deployment.  This project required knowledge of DNS, IP Addressing, Firewall Rules, and general computer networking knowledge, not to mention the application was tied-in to Windows SharePoint Services 2.0.  That became our first “triple upgrade.”

Many implementations and upgrades later, Sean remains Employee No. 1.  Our best work has come through on some of our toughest challenges, for example, again what we call “triple upgrades,” where, say, we have to upgrade the server-based business application, the integrated web application, and the host operating system all over the course of a weekend to get from one version to the next.  Another specific example would be an upgrade from CRM 4.0 to CRM 2011 to CRM 2013.  These upgrades cannot be taken lightly, and shouldn’t be attempted by mere mortals.

The overall quality of Sean’s work, as well as his indomitable work ethic, his sense of humor, and his customer service skills have made him a favorite with all of our clients.  He always has time to give full attention to your specific technical issues.  He answers his phone — and returns your calls.

Beyond that, he’s an outstanding technologist with regard to all things related to Office 365, Symantec Endpoint Protection (Anti-Virus), Symantec Endpoint Encryption, Online Backups, Windows Servers, Outlook, Exchange, SharePoint Online, CRM Internet-Facing-Deployments (IFD), the infamous CRM Email Router, and the list goes on.
