CRM 4 – No “Created On Date” Accessible in Database

On migrating data from CRM 4 to CRM 2011, there doesn’t seem to be a way to pull the original “Created On” Date from CRM 4 to populate in CRM 2011. In CRM 2011, we can use the Scribe tool to hit an Override Created On (overriddencreatedon) date field in the CRM 2011 entity — but where to pull that information from in the CRM 4.0 source? So, as of now, the newly-created (migrated) date is the “Created On” date for CRM 4 => CRM 2011 migrated data. Not ideal for clients that would like to know when that client account record was originally created in their system.

One work-around I can think of would be to have a custom date field, say “Original CRM 4 Created On Date” field — but, alas, the problem is with the CRM 4 source, not the CRM 2011 destination. So, that wouldn’t help.

Anybody else encounter this difficulty?
